Experience: Todd is the youngest member of Brainerd Guide Service, but yet he still has over twenty-five years of fishing experience in the Brainerd Lakes area. Todd is a prime example of the skill level of our Brainerd fishing guides. When the youngest member of guide service has almost three decades of fishing experience, you can rest assured, the entire staff of Brainerd Guide Service is serious about fishing. Todd is an accomplished multi-species angler who guides year round. Whether he’s fishing in a boat, or through the ice, Todd’s knows how to find fish. Todd fishes several walleye and bass tournaments each summer, but it’s his innovative musky techniques that distinguishs him as one of the best musky guides in the Brainerd Lakes area. Todd started his guiding career working at Marv Koep’s Bait-Shop, scooping minnows for customers. Todd eventually started guiding at Koeps and took many guide trips there; right up until the shop went out of business at Old Smiley Road. After Koep's closed, Todd worked for several years as a call-in fishing guide for several other local guide services, before he joined Brainerd Guide Service. Species Todd Fishes For: Todd is primarily a muskie, walleye, and northern pike guide, but he loves to chase bass when the fishing conditions are right. And like the rest of the guides at Brainerd Guide Service, he loves to watch bobbers go down on a spring crappie bite. Todd has a great personality and is an excellent guide for anglers of all ages. |
